Today, i was driving from patiala to rewari on my apache bike at the speed of 65km/h and was thinking of my previous journeys on bikes and suddenly an idea came that why not to write a blog about my journeys. So from now on i'll be writing my thoughts about my journeys.
I started biking at the age of 14. And my first bike was hero honda passion then i got honda twister and now i have tvs apache. My first long trip was from patiala to sunam i.e. 70km one side when i was just 16 and didn't have license back then. After that went to shimla 2 times about 250km one side went to Manali and rohtang on bike i.e. 700 km one side and now using bike to went home on holidays from rewari to patiala 270km one side. Till date travelled 5 times from patiala to rewari on bike.
Today At 1pm i start preparing for my journey got dressed, tied my shoes pack my bag. Tie my luggage to my bike pick my goggles say goodbye to all family members and leave home at 2:18pm. Then stop at petrol pump got petrol filled in bike and plug earphone in ears and start the trip.
In mind i was thinking that i should enjoy the roadside view today not the speed. I always push up my bike to the limits last time i achieve top speed of 120km/h on my bike but this time i decided not to go beyond 80km/h.
While traveling from home to cheeka i just was under 70km/h. On punjab haryana boarder police stop me and then ask me to go without checking.it was too much crowd on the roads due to upcoming elections in haryana.
I just was about to hit a person which was crossing road without watching traffic on the road . After that my journey was very smooth upto jind.
I wanted to stop on rivers in the way but nearby villagers was their with thier buffaloes so i drop the idea.
After jind the road is terrible upto rohtak. But road side view of the farms was very beautiful and pleasant. I was traveling alone with my bike but suddenly i saw someone was traveling with me. I just smiled at him and take his picture. it was my shadow and was behind me.
At 5.00pm it just surpassed me.
In rohtak i was behind tata magic when i was about to overtake it , it just turn toward me i have to apply brake because i was between tata magic and divider it make me angry beacuse before overtaking i was blowing horn to that he came to know that somebody is overtaking him .
After rohtak i was on the new highway rohtak to nh-8 i was enjoying my journey.
i stop at 5:45pm near a shop to buy a dew and got 1 liter bottel which i drink in 15 minutes after 6:00pm.
i started again but this time sun was setting and my goggles have blackish tint so i have difficulty in driving so i have to remove the goggles but it turn bad for me . 3,4 times mosquitoes hit my eyes so i again wear goggles. but driving became very painfull as was using black goggles in night. At 6.40pm i was very desperate that why i haven't reach rewari till now i crossed tolltax at 6:55pm and got call from my mom at 6:59pm i told them i'm about 5km from room and at 7:10pm i reached my room. My eyes red after 265 km run due to air and mosquitoes. Now preparing to go back on job.
